CFB 27 Dynasty Points Explained
Dynasty Points are a shared management budget. They force a choice between improving the program around the roster and paying the players needed to build or protect it.
What the budget represents
The official Dynasty overview describes one program budget used across NIL, coaching staff, and facilities. Your available total and the costs you see in-game are the authoritative values for your save.
Because the same pool supports several systems, a budget can look healthy before recruiting and still become tight after staff, facility, and roster obligations are counted together.
Why a reserve matters
A reserve is not a game rule. It is a planning choice. Keeping a small amount unassigned gives you room for late recruiting movement, changed expectations, or an offseason priority you did not anticipate.
Use scenarios instead of one forecast
Compare a conservative build with a win-now allocation. If both scenarios remain positive, the plan has breathing room. If only the aggressive scenario works, you know exactly which assumptions need to hold.
Run the numbers for your save
Start with the values shown in-game, then compare a conservative and aggressive plan.
